This lively inside painted snuff bottle depicts a continuous scene of elaborate butterflies. In some parts of China, the first character in the word for butterfly is pronounced like the word for happiness (fu). The butterfly is therefore often used as a symbol of happiness. But it is also a symbol of long life, joy and summer. The artist, Zhao Haibao, is a pupil of Master painter Wang Qian. He was born in 1975 in Yixian and was a Ji school student. Material options:
• Clear Plexiglass -> The photo is printed on a 4 mm thick aluminium plate and then covered with a 3 mm clear plexiglass.
• Fine Art Paper -> Is a gloss paper with a fine structure, reminiscent of Baryta. It is printed with 12 different colors and 3 shades of grey. The photo is pasted on an aluminium plate of 4 mm thick.
